worry no more!

this p.m maude told me that our grades in biochem was already encoded. at first, i don't know how i would respond. so i just nod and said, ah ok. cge e check ko lng karon. pero syempre, kudog man atay ko eh! but i already knew then that we all passed the subject, because i personally had the chance to talk to our adviser (that was the time when i got our clearance) and inquire for our status. eventhough our teacher said that nobody failed in biochem, i still have that feeling of doubts because i am not really sure if i was able to pass our exams (especially MIDTERM!!), because the results were not release to us weeks after the exam. thus, to lessen my anxiety, just this evening, as i arrived home, i immediately turned on the computer, and without further ado, redirects to the website of san ag. and YES! it is confirmed. I PASSED BIOCHEM!!! yiheee!!!

Its nearly a year from now since we had our filming
about the life story of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

Though this is kinda a 'tinik in our lalamunan' bcoz as we go along with the project, we encountered many 'balakid'. Nevertheless, we still made it.

Anyway, the videos you're about to see were just the 'blooper' thang!
Happy viewing =))

Have you been to church today?

Today is already the third Sunday of lent. Two more sundays to go and we're about to enter the holy week season, wherein, we commemorates Christ's paschal mystery.

Today's Gospel is found in the book of John 2:13-25 and it talks about the
Cleansing of the Temple.

"13(A) The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus(B) went up to Jerusalem. 14(C) In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers sitting there. 15And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. 16And he told those who sold the pigeons, "Take these things away; do not make(D) my Father’s house a house of trade." 17His disciples remembered that it was written,(E) "Zeal for your house will consume me."
18So the Jews said to him,(
F) "What sign do you show us for doing these things?" 19Jesus answered them, (G) "Destroy this temple, and in three days(H) I will raise it up." 20The Jews then said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?" 21But he was speaking about(I) the temple of his body. 22When therefore he was raised from the dead,(J) his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed(K) the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
Jesus Knows What Is in Man 23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in his name(
L) when they saw the signs that he was doing. 24But Jesus(M) on his part did not entrust himself to them, because(N) he knew all people 25and needed no one to bear witness about man, for(O) he himself knew what was in man."

Bad News: I was rejected! ; Good News: I was accepted! =)

Last night, bam2x called me up and ask me if we (antoniette & me) are willing to help her look for a drugstore. Kay man si manenay, wara man kamaan nga pwede dun gali ka submit ti application form. buw! palarehos gid kme tana ah. Kung di gani pag lukpan, di man mag hulag.. sigh....

okay. so much for that.

Early this morning (tulog pko tni), antoniette called me...

tOnet: hello. good morning. pwede kay lovely?
tyay: dali lng ha. tawgon ko lng. (pati kna, ako to nag sabat. gina gud tym ko lng sya. heheh)
tyay again: hello net.
tOnet: oi! love. pakdto na si bambam sa city.
tyay: cge...hambla lng pa pirma sya anay sng waiver. kitaay lng ta nyo krn after lunch.
tOnet: cge ah...
tyay: cge..bye.

***after that phone call, tulog naman ko liwat. ZzzzzZzzz***

After one hour and thirty-five minutes to be exact. antoniette called again...

tOnet: hello. love!
tyay: oh..
tOnet: nag tx si bam2x. wala man to daw si dean. teh, ano ni man?
tyay: teh kay doc suma lng sya pa sign eh.
tOnet: anay pa. texan ko sya.
tyay: Oo. cge na. kitaay lng ta karon. tex ka lng.
tOnet: cge ah..bye!

At ten o'clock...my celfon beeps...it was bam2x.

**after exchanging messages, I finally went to the bathroom and take a bath... It didn't took me longer though kay ga dali na si iyay...

At 11:30...I txted bam2x, telling her that I am waiting at the decipher...
she replied: w8 lng. I'm coming...
and after 20 minutes, finally! nag abot gd man sya. du ma varicoson man ko ka hulat ky iyay ba. sniff..
Anyway, the two of us headed to robinson's mall. first to have our lunch tni. 2nd to fill up the application form. but what had happened is the opposite..heheh..excited gd bi si iyay. After that, we went to mang inasal..syempre paayaw kaon kan-on...bam2x consumed 3 cups of rice. ako ya 2 cups lng...medyo gamay akon compartment eh...smirk!
Nag-apas man si antoniette. wala sya gleng nag eat. heheh. ga tipid sya kno kay dako gasto nya dis week. okie...

After that pabusOg lunch, we went to mercury valeria. And our my story begins here......

It was 2:30 pm when we arrived at the drugstore. we ask one of the employee if their supervisor is around. but he said: 3:00 pa. hulata nyo lng anay. And so we waited until 3:00. the supervisor finally arrives. Then, bam2x and I went inside the ofis to submit tni our forms... Unfortunately...the HEAD, told us that there should only be 3 interns per branch. ky amo ni kno ang gin mitingan nla sa manila. kibot kme eh! the HEAD then told one of the staff to call their other branches to check kng may available pa. Miraculously, the staff said, may ara pa sa mabini. whew! Thank God! she then returned my application forms. then, we went to mercury mabini branch.

At the drugstore, one of the employee approach us. we told her that the mercury (valeria branch) referred us here. we then presented our application forms. then she said: balik kmo by 4:00 kay nag break pa ang manager.

Since wla pman 4:00, antoniette asks us to go with her sa skol ky ma deliver daw sya sng order (not food...but, avon products. basi gusto nyo man mag order?) sa friend sng brod nya...grabe si manenay. business minded gid yah! pautang bi...heheh! joke!

Quarter to 4, blik naman kmi sa drugstore..finally, we were able to meet the manager. She told us that she will only accept one of us, ky 2 interns lng gid kelangan nya. since the drugstore is not that big as compared to the others. Luckily, I was accepted ky kumpleto na tnan ko nga requirements. Unfortunately, Bam2x was not accepted. sad...the manager told her to check their other branches...huhu...sad gid ya..bi ko updanay na kmi ni bam2x.

So we help her look for a drugstore again. then I remember nga may Lady Pharmacy gle near sa rob. so kadto kmi to kag mag inquire... Awa ng Diyos. pwede pa daw ka submit forms. teh nag fill-up naman liwat si iyay sng bio-data. right after nga na submit nya, she was told to come back on monday afternoon to check her status kng accepted sya or not. haiz...tni baton ka lng bam...

Pagkatapos...kad2 naman kme sa sm delgado. kay nag bakal pa si bam2x slipper nya. At around 5:30 we decided to part ways. but nag hapit pa ya si bam2x sa grocery ky mbakal pa daw sya sng kaonon nya. kme ya ni tonet nag sakay sa jeep(ungka u.i. diversion..heheh) kay mpa sukol sya sa aunt nya para sa uniform..naks! excited...& me naman, is in a hurry to go home kay ma type pko blog..heheh! 'coz i want to share our horrible journey to my fellow bloggers :)

Despite of the circumstances, the init, the yab-ok, and the kapoy, I can say that, our day ends teaching us one big lesson: " DO NOT TAKE FOR GRANTED TIME" 'coz once it has passed, we can never bring it back. Nasa huli ang pagsisisi.....

The world mourns

Who would have not known Francis M.? (raise your hand). He is the master rapper of the century. His songs like mga kababayan ko which shows his being nationalistic, also kaleidoscope( w/ PNE) are just a few which hits the big chart. He's one of the country's renowned rapper/singer/artist/entrepreneur. He is one of the pillars of the showbiz industry.

Unfortunately, fate has paved its way. Last friday, March 6, the entire Filipinos were shocked. I was also shocked. Who would believe it? He's gone. (sigh...) He died after his long battle with cancer. Yes cancer, a disease known to all, the leading cause of death not only among filipinos but also other races. It is a class of diease which proliferates in the body and invades the tissues. Unluckily, the King of Rap has this. He was diagnosed of leukemia just a year ago. He even announce it in public about his condition and the treatment He's about to undergo. His untimely death is a big loss for the country, for the industry. But on the other side of it, is somewhat putting an end after a long time of suffering from too much pain.

For me, death is not an end to everything. Sad though, but we will all get there. It is just the beginning of life. A blissful life free of pain, sufferings, fear and worrisome thoughts. It is in a way living a new life beside our Creator.

Wherever he may be right now, we all know that the King of Rap had already meet the King of Kings face to face, shakes hand with Him and probably talks about having concert? in heaven? hmm...rakrakan! sa langit! alright..

farewell kiko... =)

What would you do if Mr. or Ms. Problem would present him/herself to you?

Here are your choices:
a) give up.
b) give in.
c) solve it.

To help you decide clearly, allow me to share with you my own views on how to deal with these matters. Prior to that, let me define first the word PROBLEM.

According to wikipedia, problem is an obstacle which makes it difficult to achieve a desired goal, objective or purpose. It also refers to a situation, condition or issues that is not yet resolved.

All of us have undergone through difficulties. Take me as an example. Estudyante na Class President pa. Imagine the responsiblities? Aside from studying and doing my homeworks, I still have to allot some of my time attending meetings, making requests(soundbox, mic and ohp as always), include pa gd b ang mga activities in which, all students are oblige to attend and participate because they would always impose this quote and quote "NO ATTENDACE, NO CLEARANCE" policy. grrh..it sucks! it gets into my nerves. Thinking of all these tasks makes me feel nauseated. It seems that my ATPs has all been used up.(huhu..poor me..) weak and haggard.

What will I do? advice..advice..advice..please.

Sometimes, I feel like giving up because it's the easiest possible way to escape such responsibilities. Its just like turning my back, go somewhere else and have fun leaving all those works behind. But my super ego stops me from doing such. It even help me to reflect and realize the effects of my actions. But what do we get when we give up? nada. nothing. wala. It would always remain a problem. I remember my teacher (ppts) she would always say, only losers do give up. They are people who don't want to take the risk. Those who easily give up without even trying. (gosh...) I don't wanna be called a loser. How 'bout you?

Let's try option B. "Give in". hmm...give in to what? temptations? (oh..help me God!). Help me to resist from it. okay. enough kay O.A na. Anyway, this one is a bit complicated because we are under the influence of someone. Might be our parents, friends, colleagues. Our decision is somewhat dependent on them. Agree? Sometimes we let them decide things for us. Agree pa gd? We tend to be submissive. We can't decide on our own because we think that we are incapable of doing such and that their choice is the best. So we always submit to their demands.

In option C, the choice is to SOLVE it. Meaning, we've got to face it and work on it (tapusin ang dapat tapusin). That we have to be brave enough in facing the circumstances. Whatever the result, good or bad, at least we can say that we did our best. That we try solving it on our own. So that we won't regret in the end.

We all make choices. And that choice would deter what we will be in the future. Problems are here not to put us down nor to cause suffering but to test our stregth. Strength on how we would overcome the catastrophe it brings. To see how long we could endure the pain. oOps! tama gd ka senti...

Anyway, just pick your choice. Whatever it is...it would still be at your benefit...As for me, I choose option C.

ps: I know that my blog is a sort of a crap! cge bawi nlang ko next time... buhbye.
