What would you do if Mr. or Ms. Problem would present him/herself to you?
Here are your choices:
a) give up.
b) give in.
c) solve it.
To help you decide clearly, allow me to share with you my own views on how to deal with these matters. Prior to that, let me define first the word PROBLEM.
According to wikipedia, problem is an obstacle which makes it difficult to achieve a desired goal, objective or purpose. It also refers to a situation, condition or issues that is not yet resolved.
All of us have undergone through difficulties. Take me as an example. Estudyante na Class President pa. Imagine the responsiblities? Aside from studying and doing my homeworks, I still have to allot some of my time attending meetings, making requests(soundbox, mic and ohp as always), include pa gd b ang mga activities in which, all students are oblige to attend and participate because they would always impose this quote and quote "NO ATTENDACE, NO CLEARANCE" policy. grrh..it sucks! it gets into my nerves. Thinking of all these tasks makes me feel nauseated. It seems that my ATPs has all been used up.(huhu..poor me..) weak and haggard.
What will I do? advice..advice..advice..please.
Sometimes, I feel like giving up because it's the easiest possible way to escape such responsibilities. Its just like turning my back, go somewhere else and have fun leaving all those works behind. But my super ego stops me from doing such. It even help me to reflect and realize the effects of my actions. But what do we get when we give up? nada. nothing. wala. It would always remain a problem. I remember my teacher (ppts) she would always say, only losers do give up. They are people who don't want to take the risk. Those who easily give up without even trying. (gosh...) I don't wanna be called a loser. How 'bout you?
Let's try option B. "Give in". hmm...give in to what? temptations? (oh..help me God!). Help me to resist from it. okay. enough kay O.A na. Anyway, this one is a bit complicated because we are under the influence of someone. Might be our parents, friends, colleagues. Our decision is somewhat dependent on them. Agree? Sometimes we let them decide things for us. Agree pa gd? We tend to be submissive. We can't decide on our own because we think that we are incapable of doing such and that their choice is the best. So we always submit to their demands.
In option C, the choice is to SOLVE it. Meaning, we've got to face it and work on it (tapusin ang dapat tapusin). That we have to be brave enough in facing the circumstances. Whatever the result, good or bad, at least we can say that we did our best. That we try solving it on our own. So that we won't regret in the end.
We all make choices. And that choice would deter what we will be in the future. Problems are here not to put us down nor to cause suffering but to test our stregth. Strength on how we would overcome the catastrophe it brings. To see how long we could endure the pain. oOps! tama gd ka senti...
Anyway, just pick your choice. Whatever it is...it would still be at your benefit...As for me, I choose option C.
ps: I know that my blog is a sort of a crap! cge bawi nlang ko next time... buhbye.
