it was in the afternoon of April 1 when i finally received the good news. "maka duty na gid man ang mga mercurians" hooray!! that was the happiest afternoon of my life. at last, i can wear those white uniforms again with matching tiara...heheh...I'm feeling kagalang-galang na. say nyo??
on that afternoon also, i have received sets of phone calls from my closest fwends. red. as what others used to call him. and as what he calls himself too. but i'm not used to it. heheh! LACSON gid ya for life...was the first to inform me that our application was already approved...big THUMBS up to you =))
pebbles also called. syempre kamustahan portion. and we've spend nearly an hour conversing with each other. well...chikadora man daan si iyay...
then, the loudy antoniette called with matching reklamo...
tonet: gina pa ko da ga tawag sa inyo busy haw??
tyay: bal-an mo nag storyahanay pa kami ni pebbles.
tonet: lovely... maka duty na kami.
tyay: kami man.

next morning..April 2 na! my very first day for the community pharmacy internship. the location. hell! tubang sang world trade center...jowk! =>SUPER market. the not so polluted and putrid smelling (eeewww!!!) locale in the city. not to mention the other markets. but pals! it is where goods at its lowest price are sold. =) mu ni ang tindahan sang mga barat! ay! wais gali...heheh...
okay. so this very day was my very first.....
-to wear my white uniform & white shozzz
-to enter the botica!
-to meet the other employees.
-to tour all over the botica.
-to start acting as someone who's knowledgeable on drugs. Rxpert ba.!
-to apply all i have learned..(both pharcal & dosage) medyo lipat nko gni.
this day, i thought would be my toughest trying day. lots of things are bombarding my mind. plus the "what ifs?" and "basi..." which quite disturbs me. but my premonition prove me totally and entirely wrong. the staffs were very accomodating and very supportive. they even welcomed us with a full blast of smile in their faces. nakz! right then i was totally relieve. and thankful that i was transferred in this branch. 'coz you know the...ehem! thanks so much LORD!
okay. so we have this 'tell me your name' scenario. just a short portion inorder to know whom to call and ask for BULIIIIIG...just in case.
after that. we were given oUr very first assignment. know what it is??
*panarapo sang shelves sa sulod sang prescription counter kag pang arrange sang bulong. hmm...kung sa balay bala, dusting furnitures! heheh.
then, we were ask to repacked the empty gelatin capsules and label it (according to its number), make paper boxes. also, we assist in dispensing the drugs (mga P.A & others lang gleng ang ga hatag sa customer). ga prepare lang kami yah. moreover, we were taught on how to fill up the form when releasing controlled drugs. furthermore, it is now a protocol to familiarize and know by heart the different drugs inside & outside the Rx counter, which is the main course of our internship. Oh bulong! please fill up my senses. familiar? kanta ni sya actually.
the whole day was damn! so awesome. no regrets. and i want to learn more and more and experience more.
still have lots to tell but...next time naman...sleep nako. (yawn)
**Oh! this blogginess thing, I really missed...so much =))
